Melanie Ramsay
Biography
Melanie Ramsay attended the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and graduated in the class of 1992 among peers such as Ewan McGregor and Monica Dolan. She acted in various TV, commercial, film, and theatre work until retiring from acting in 2013 to pursue a career in dramatherapy. Her most notable role was in the hit BBC TV period drama ‘the House of Eliott’ depicting Grace Keeble in season 3. She remains close to her Guildhall cohort, and has continued to engage with various other creative endeavours, forming the macabre folk punk band The Grim Face Marys as the front woman and accordion player.
